Bahrain MP discusses Asian parliamentary cooperation with Indonesia

MP Ahmed Sabah Al Salloom met Indonesia's parliamentary delegation at the 153rd Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in Arusha, Tanzania, from October 5 to 9. Discussions covered strengthening Asian parliamentary cooperation, transforming the APA into the Asian Parliamentary Union, and opening nominations for the new APA Secretary General.

The meeting discussed means to develop Asian parliamentary cooperation, strengthen cooperation between both, and the proposal to transform the APA into the Asian Parliamentary Union to develop its work and approach in line with parliamentary aspirations and international trends.
