OpenAI's Dots agent excels at workplace tasks, struggles with security

OpenAI's new Dots agent platform lets users assign workplace tasks to AI-powered avatars that can access apps like Blender and GIMP. Unlike competitor Muse, Dots feels more like enterprise software. Testing revealed mixed results: struggles with website security checks but excelled redesigning a personal website and editing video clips.

Dot makes a lot more sense when you think of it and use it as "Codex, but for regular people" — a cute little blob that can take care of some part of your business while you do other things.
