Brent crude rises 29 cents to $102.60

Brent crude rose 29 cents, or 0.28%, to $102.60 a barrel on Friday. US West Texas Intermediate crude gained 27 cents, or 0.29%, to $93.14 a barrel. Prices climbed following concerns over a worsening global fuel shortage. Brent was on track for a weekly loss of 1.93%.

Brent had settled more than $4 higher in the previous session, while US crude gained more than $2 following a report that raised concerns over a worsening global fuel shortage.
