Bahrain shields workforce with wage support during crises

Bahrain's Labour Minister says the government prioritises protecting the national workforce and maintaining labour market stability. During Iranian attacks, cooperation between executive and legislative authorities expedited measures supporting workers, including approving a draft law for wage payments from the Unemployment Benefits Record for insured private sector workers.

The measure provided wage support for Bahraini workers, eased the burden on employers and helped businesses continue operating during that period.
