Bahrain plants 2.45 million trees, exceeds mangrove targets

Bahrain's Agriculture Minister highlighted the kingdom's agricultural advancement on Arab Agriculture Day. The nation has planted 2.45 million trees toward a 3.6 million target by 2035. The Bahrain Mangroves Initiative exceeded its goal at 139%, with 2.23 million seedlings planted. Eighteen agricultural plots covering 122,000 square metres were allocated to farmers.

The ministry continues to implement initiatives aimed at supporting Bahraini farmers, expanding agricultural investment and increasing the presence of local products in the market.
