Bahrain interior minister attends UN crime prevention congress

General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Interior Minister, visited the UAE to participate in the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice. The congress gathered around 5,000 participants from 97 countries, including 32 justice and interior ministers. The Interior Minister emphasized international cooperation in combating transnational crime and cybercrime threats.

Information security is no longer a technical issue concerning experts alone, but has become the first line of defence for the sovereignty of states and the stability of societies.
