Hubble hits 200,000 orbits, targets universe expansion mystery

NASA's Hubble Space Telescope reached 200,000 Earth orbits on September 19th after 36 years in space. It covered over five billion miles and made 1.7 million observations. Hubble now tracks Supernova Athena to measure universe expansion rates and resolve the "Hubble Tension" between conflicting measurements.

If the timing of each appearance of Supernova Athena aligns with what we would expect based upon our model, then we can confidently state that our models are correct. However, if there are discrepancies, we may have discovered some form of new physics that is currently unknown to us.
