Bahrain All Share Index falls on financials weakness

Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,910.48 points, down 1.49 points from the previous close. The decline was driven by drops in the financials and consumer staples sectors. The Bahrain Islamic Index rose 2.96 points to 918.20. Trading saw 106 equity transactions worth BD 470,569, with the financials sector dominating at 75.91% of total traded value.

Investors traded mainly in the financials sector, representing 75.91% of the total value of securities traded.
