Bahrain advances travel security at ICAO symposium in Montreal

Bahrain's delegation, led by Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, participated in the 21st Traveller Identification Programme Symposium and Exhibition organized by ICAO from September 22 to 24 in Montreal. Bahrain is advancing its travel system through projects including the One-Stop Travel Project with the UAE, Electronic Travel Authorisation system, eGates development, and electronic passport technology.

These projects form part of an integrated approach to utilise modern technologies to make travel easier, faster and more secure while maintaining high standards of security and identity verification.
