Typhoon Dujuan leaves 9 dead, 4 missing in Japan

Typhoon Dujuan brought record rainfall to Japan's Kanto region, triggering mudslides that killed nine people and left four missing. Oshima Island recorded 832 millimeters of rain in 48 hours, more than 2.4 times September's average. Chiba Prefecture reported six deaths and two missing; Kanagawa three deaths and two unaccounted for. Over 600 houses sustained damage from flooding and mudslides.
