Interior Minister receives US Ambassador

General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Interior Minister, received US Ambassador Stephanie Hallett. He congratulated her on the 250th anniversary of the United States' founding and commended historical ties and strategic partnership between the countries. The two sides discussed bilateral security cooperation programmes and means to enhance them.

The minister commended the historical ties and strategic partnership between the two countries and their commitment to strengthening cooperation, coordination and joint efforts at all levels, particularly in security.
