Barry Melrose, Former ESPN Analyst and Hockey Pro, Dies at 70

Barry Melrose, NHL player, coach and ESPN analyst, died Wednesday at 70. Born in Kelvington, Saskatchewan, he was drafted by Montreal Canadiens in 1976 and played until 1986. He coached the Los Angeles Kings to the 1993 Stanley Cup Final. Melrose joined ESPN in 1996 and retired in 2023 after a Parkinson's diagnosis.
