Suno releases its first AI music model made with record industry help

Suno released v6, its first AI music model developed with support from record labels Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe. The model comes in three versions: v6, v6-wild, and v6-mini. v6 dramatically improves genre understanding and allows users to edit songs via plain language chat. However, it still cannot produce natural imperfections like off-key vocals or dissonant notes.

v6 was 'trained from the ground up, with a new set of data that does not include the same data that our previous models were trained on.'
