Spanish intelligence warned of Ceuta mass crossing plans before surge

Spain's National Intelligence Service warned Moroccan and Ceuta authorities on 29 July of social media calls for a mass migrant crossing the following day. On 30 and 31 July, at least 72,000 people crossed from Morocco into Ceuta, with at least 100 deaths reported. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez claimed the events were unpredictable, but opposition parties say declassified documents prove the government misled Spaniards about the scale of the crisis.

Whoever wants to cross has the last chance on Throne Day [30 July] at 8 the authorities will be distracted with the celebrations and parades.
