President Sheikh Mohamed's state visit highlights growing UAE-German ties

President Sheikh Mohamed's state visit to Germany reinforces increasingly strong bilateral relations between the UAE and Germany. Bilateral trade exceeded Dh57 billion last year, with German imports from the UAE rising over 50 per cent. An estimated 2,000 German businesses operate in the UAE, including BMW, Siemens, and Deutsche Bahn. The strategic partnership, established in April 2004, extends across energy, trade, climate action, and regional security.

There is only one Arab country with which we have elevated our relationship to the level of a strategic partnership – and that is the UAE.
