Media and security sectors must be essential partners, says Saudi Gazette editor

Jameel Altheyabi, editor-in-chief of Okaz and supervisor general of Saudi Gazette, called for a professional partnership between media and security sectors at the Security and History Dialogue 2026 conference in Riyadh on Tuesday. He emphasized the need for trust, effective communication, and shared responsibility to strengthen public awareness, counter misinformation, and manage crises effectively.

One of the two is indispensable for the other, given the need for continuous coordination between the two sides.
