Attappadi double murder accused arrested in West Bengal

Provat Das, 36, was arrested in West Bengal by Agali police on Tuesday for the Attappadi double murder case. The victims, Pranitha, 25, and her daughter Johitha, 4, were found dumped in the Bhavani river at Cheerakkadavu on Sunday. Das admitted to the killings during questioning but denied they were his wife and daughter. A special investigation team headed by Agali DSP R Ashok is conducting the probe.
