Rights panel orders probe into Cheranalloor water shortage

Kerala's State Human Rights Commission has ordered steps to resolve drinking water shortage in Cheranalloor panchayat's various wards. The Kerala Water Authority must conduct a site inspection to identify the cause and rectify issues within five weeks. Residents of wards 7 and 8 in Chittoor area have not received drinking water for two weeks.

I had taken up the matter with the Minister himself. He assured that the issue would be resolved at the earliest.
