Osaka takes major title wait in stride after U.S. Open exit

Naomi Osaka's fourth-round U.S. Open defeat to Elena Rybakina extended her wait for another Grand Slam title. The 28-year-old Japanese player, who won her last major at the 2021 Australian Open before stepping away and giving birth to daughter Shai, said motherhood had changed her perspective on success. She managed an Achilles injury during her 6-1 6-4 loss.
