Iran seeks deeper India ties ahead of Pezeshkian's BRICS visit

Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei highlighted India as a vital diplomatic hub ahead of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's visit to New Delhi for the BRICS summit on September 12-13. PM Modi and Pezeshkian recently met in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, discussing bilateral trade expansion and Chabahar Port cooperation. Iran expressed confidence that multilateral diplomacy will accelerate bilateral progress in economic collaboration and strategic partnership.
