Eric Wu's NavigateAI tackles construction's labor shortage with AI copilots

Eric Wu, former Opendoor CEO, launched NavigateAI in May with $25 million seed funding to build AI copilots for construction workers. The construction industry faces a shortage of roughly 349,000 workers, exacerbated by data center projects requiring 4,000 to 5,000 people each. NavigateAI's smartphone and Meta glasses-based product helps workers verify installations meet code and specifications in real time.
