Malaysia hosts Asean health ministers' meet again after 20 years

Malaysia will host the 17th Asean Health Ministers' Meeting from September 7 to 11 in Kuala Lumpur. The conference theme is 'Healthy Asean: Together Towards Equitable, Future-Ready Health Systems.' This marks Malaysia's first time hosting the event in 20 years, following the 7th AHMM in Penang in 2004. The meeting strengthens regional public health cooperation.
