Kuwait grants 10-year residency for those who lost citizenship
Kuwait has amended its Foreigners' Residency Law, adding Article 7 bis to allow individuals whose Kuwaiti citizenship was revoked — or acquired through dependency — to obtain residency permits for up to 10 years. Holders are exempt from the six-month absence rule and annual fees. Immediate family members pay KD10, while other relatives face a KD300 family residence fee.
