Antonelli wins Italian GP from P19 as Ferrari suffer home heartbreak

Kimi Antonelli overcame a 30-place grid penalty to win the 2026 Italian Grand Prix from 19th on the grid, charging through the field to overtake teammate George Russell for the lead on Lap 18. Ferrari endured a miserable home race: Leclerc crashed out on Lap 2, Hamilton finished sixth. Pierre Gasly took a shock maiden pole for Alpine, but couldn't hold the front runners across 53 laps.
