Oman and Rwanda: Expanding Horizons for a Promising Partnership

Oman and Rwanda are deepening ties built on diplomatic relations dating to 1982, aligned through Oman Vision 2040 and Rwanda Vision 2050. Four cooperation agreements signed in January 2026 span logistics, data centres, AI, and airport management. Direct Muscat–Kigali flights now boost connectivity, while over 80 Omani companies showcased food, plastics, and construction products at OPEX in Kigali.

The exhibition helped open new markets for Omani products and strengthen business ties with Rwanda and the wider East African region.
