Maharashtra Ministers Call for DJ-Free Festivals Citing Health Hazards

Two Maharashtra ministers are pushing for DJ-free festivals ahead of Ganesh festival, citing noise pollution and fatal health risks. Minister Meghana Bordikar revealed her cousin died due to a DJ system last year. Guardian Minister Sanjay Shirsat warned police will fine offenders and seize vehicles. However, colleague Yogesh Kadam firmly opposed any restrictions, saying Hindu festival sounds will not be stopped.
