Antonelli wins Italian Grand Prix from 19th on the grid in historic Monza triumph

Kimi Antonelli became the first Italian to win at Monza since 1966, charging from 19th on the grid to take victory ahead of team mate George Russell in a Mercedes 1-2. A Virtual Safety Car proved decisive: Antonelli pitted for fresh mediums while Russell stayed out on hards. Antonelli then carved through the field to overtake Russell and seal a historic home win. Max Verstappen claimed third for Red Bull.
