A DUSU election campaigner from Gwalior, Krishna Bhardwaj, was among the first to pull survivors from a collapsed five-storey building in Satya Niketan, Delhi, on September 6, 2026 — before police or fire personnel arrived. His team rescued four people. One student he pulled out, who pleaded 'Bhaiya, please mujhe bacha lo', later died. Seven students were hospitalised. Buildings in the area allegedly operated on fake NOCs.
