Official Grid: Starting positions for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix

Pierre Gasly starts on pole for Alpine at Monza, with George Russell alongside in second. Oscar Piastri drops to sixth after a penalty for impeding Liam Lawson in Q2, promoting Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, and Max Verstappen. Kimi Antonelli and Alex Albon take back-of-grid penalties, while Lawson and Fernando Alonso must start from the pit lane.

Lawson, who himself had been set to start from the back, will now start from the pit lane after Red Bull changed his rear wing and suspension set-up under parc ferme conditions.
