Kerala CM seeks Centre support for coconut value-addition park
Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan on Wednesday sought Union government and Coconut Development Board support to establish a Coconut Value-Addition Park in Kerala. Agriculture Minister T. Siddique announced a Coconut Rejuvenation Plan covering production to marketing. The Agriculture Department will submit a ₹500 crore project, with ₹41 crore as State government share in the first phase.
