IndiGo flight makes emergency landing in Goa after engine failure

A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight carrying 229 passengers returned to Goa roughly 30 minutes after takeoff on Tuesday after one engine failed mid-air. Flight 6E 2102 departed at 9.16 a.m., prompting Air Traffic Control to declare a full emergency at 9.30 a.m. The aircraft touched down safely on runway 28 at Manohar International Airport at 9.51 a.m.

"Following the standard operating procedure, the relevant authorities were informed, and the pilots turned back and landed the aircraft safely at Manohar International Airport."
